You see if everybody isn't willing to give living differently a try than people remain in the digs having to look out for themselves. I am a minimalist. I am willing to pay taxes, to vote, to petition, to try to elect people who will look out for the environment. I don't need a lot. I need to know that the world is going to survive, that we care enough. I'm doing what I can and willing to do more if it comes my way. If we all got in line perhaps we can make a change. Recycle, reuse, reduce. Pay attention. Don't let big business get away with causing life long problems for the rest of us. Don't give rich people your approval if they don't deserve it. Be the demonstration yourself. We can live differently each one of us ourselves. Then we could put pressure on the wealthy. Wouldn't it be wonderful if people became proud and happy to have/use less and give more? Wouldn't it be wonderful if the competition turned to that instead of getting more more more?
