Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
My fiance binge drinks, knows the binging part bothers me(I enjoy a few drinks here and there) but refuses to tone it down. He'll drink half a bottle of whiskey- and it's a huge bottle. It worries me because I wonder if I should marry someone who lives like that, and most importantly bring children into the world with him. Especially since the drinking will most likely get worse before it gets better. It's not as if I've told him to quit cold Turkey or anything. Just to scale back.
Over the summer he was supposed to attend my best friend's birthday party with me but got hammered instead and couldn't make it. I was furious and hurt- he knew about the party well in advance and if he didn't want to go he should have said so.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

When we fight, he fights dirty. He says really awful things to me and refuses to discuss our relationship and problems. Yes, I say terrible things too, but he retaliates and says things that cut me to my core. I recently started a new job, but as I said in previous posts I was unemployed for a month and a half. It was not my fault (I worked for someone who was impossible to work for), yet my "fiance" throws that in my face, and I think he feels it was my fault I was let go. During that time, I was really depressed and needed his support, but he wasn't very supportive.
I think he's one of those guys who is a "nice" guy in sheep's clothing, but is actually a rotten and a mean person.
You have to ask yourself what kind of life do you want to live. Please choose a life with someone who will love you back....
God Bless
