Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Looking back, it was the best think that ever happened to me because I was finally motivated to get the help I needed to get sober. That was 12 years ago and today I have a great life. Although we are divorced, my ex and I are still like best friends and we often look back to those days and laugh at some of the stupid things I did while I was loaded..
You may not see it now but you could have done him a huge favor by kicking him out so you really need to let go of all that guilt. You did nothing wrong!
You did what you had to do in the time you did it. If it were me, I wouldn't let him back in until he got help for his alcoholism like in or outpatient treatment, addiction counseling, AA meetings.....There are lots of people willing to help but he can't be afraid to ask.
You can clearly see what his drinking is doing to him but look at what his alcoholism is doing to YOU! You need alot of support for yourself and Alanon is a great place to find that support. They are pretty much everywhere just like AA meetings are and you should be able to find one in your area: Here is the link:

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless
You are being responsible and not enabling alcoholism to destroy yourself and your son, and kicking the guy out might be just what he needs to get some clarity on how destructive his not wanting to stop can be.
