Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
This may be a stupid thing to say but I literally cannot understand why I can't just stop drinking. When I try I usually only get through a week. My longest soberiety has been 30 days using a sober phone app. Now I'm back to daily drinking. I know I use it to cope with stress since I'm a divorced Mother of 3 boys but it only makes me feel hungover, depressed and like a loser for not being able to stop. Luckily I manage to function and still make it to work and take care of the kids but I have got to get off of this roller coaster. I've tried AA about a year ago and obviously it didn't work but maybe I should try it again. I'm an introvert and the drinking makes me feel more social and less lonely but I know it's not good to be drinking daily. I alternate between hard liquor and bottles of wine. I'm sitting at work now and all I can think about is having my bottle of wine when I get home. There has got to be a way to be free of this.
I just found this site today and I appreciate anyone who reads this.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

God Bless!
