Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
im new I have joined before and didn't have the strength to further my progress. I have finally hit rock bottom and reached a point that I have ruined and shredded so many possible lasting relationships I could have had. Everyday I work through withdrawals my best helps me through just for that poison. It's always on my mind when's the next one? I see her everyday and I feel so guilty for all the things I put her through. The things she puts up with. She is the only one who knows of my extent in My alcoholism, like truly... and even then I can say I hide things from her... I have ruined so much time and so many people's lives... I have wasted countless money and hours on things I don't even remember... which at this point I don't remember many of the awesome pictures and times I have!! I feel so sad and mad and stupid all at the same time!! I'm so lost and so mad at myself for being like this yet I have the option to stop and be someone different and I dont!! Uggghhh

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

The big question is: “Are you willing to do whatever it takes in order to recover from alcoholism”. If you are, you are on your way and if you are not, you will keep doing it over and over again.
When I tried everything else and failed, I did what I swore I would never do, and went to a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. I have not taken a drink since that night several years ago.
Are you willing to go to an AA meeting today or as early as possible, depending on where you live?
Where alcoholism is concerned, action speaks louder than words and the day for taking action is TODAY.
9 plus years ago, I didn't want to live anymore, but I found meaning in life through the 12 steps of AA and I highly recommend! If you're interested, you can google meetings in your area.
God Bless

I've accepted that I'm different, my body breaks down alcohol differently and ill never be able to drink "normally". I've made that choice not to drink today and each morning when I wake up I thank God for the inner strength to make the same decision again - those days soon become weeks that soon become months and a new way of life forms.
It's not easy but we are responsible for the choices we make - acceptance first followed by choice continue to make the right choices and the benefits are amazing. Good luck on your journey .
