Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
When I first got saved, God took all the desire for alcohol away, which is a wonderful gift, that I will always be thankful for. However, He left me to wrestle with nicotene , but with His help I am free of that too. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. I am very thankful that I now know this as a reality. What He did for one He will do for all who seek Him, with all their heart. My prayer for you is that you find this freedom. God Bless you.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I got sober by going through an outpatient program followed by counseling and AA which I use more or less today. I remember there were many miracles that happened early in sobriety, hat helped me through many of life's challenges and in my search to find answers to their origin, I came across ACIM which istands for a Course in Miracles which has many of the Buddist teachings.
I was amazed at how many were teachers of the course, unbeknownst to me, my AA sponser was, his sponser was, My online sponser is...I was blown away by the number who followed it's principles when I spoke of my interest in the course. It has helped me tremendously and is a great addition to the 12 steps.
