Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Now I need to find an 8pm meeting to confess....
I personally dont eat any food with alcohol in it. I have by accident on a couple of occasions and it had no affect on me but I like the line to be drawn at no alcohol at all in whatever form.

WHY do they need to put alcohol in otherwise YUMMY foods????
When I was drinking, someone at work bought me one of those candy assortments with the liquor in them for Christmas. Dang... I ate just about all of them trying to get a buzz.
For me, I loved wine, and if I can taste the wine in the food I'm eating, it might not necessarily cause a relapse, but just having that taste in my mouth would make me uneasy... regardless of any alcohol remaining or not.
I am certainly not die hard about it, but I can easily enjoy something else. To each his own.

I guess it is a matter of choice, as someone stated, and I am happy that I don't drink any more. My life is sooo much better.
To any one that may be still struggling with Alcohol, please know that you CAN quit drinking. And if you use a 12 step program (which I highly recommend) just remember, it's YOU'RE program and ultimately, it's YOU you have to be accountable too.
Peace and be well all, and thanks for letting me "confess". I feel much better!!
