bad month

3 bad things this month....2 life changing events. First my brother in law committed suicide, being self employed, its been a very bad month business wise and today my wife told me she was leaving for someone else.

I can't remember any point in my life when I felt so lonely, sad, and isolated, and lifeless.

I guess what I am asking is for maybe some prayers er somethin.

Hi Bob, I am so sorry that things are so difficult for you right now. This is the time to reach out to your HP who can hold you while you cannot hold yourself.

I will pray for you of course - maybe you will be able to use these experiences in order to grow spiritually. It may not feel that way right now but in time you will see it for yourself.

God is refining you my friend. He knows exactly how hot to keep the fire to burn the impurities off and wipe the dross away .He`ll never give you more than you can handle Trust in him, he`s in control of all things.He`s calling you to build character through perseverance.He`s got a place in His plan and a purpose for you in that plan.We become grateful even for our trials and tribulations and knowing that he still has use for us...G

You know, initially when this all happened, I felt like I got hit over the head with a sledgehammer,....but then I thought about it, and I remembered my sponser always emphacising there is good that comes out of every bad situation no matter how severe it seems at the time. And, I believed in that so strongly that I carried that message to others who were faced with life's challenges.

I felt like a boat with a broken steering wheel letting the current take me, wherever! There were some other things that happened that reinforced my belief that somebody upstairs was pulling some strings. I prayed for a sign and I got many! Some of which are right here in this post!

Now I am excited for the future. A little worried at the same time maybe because I think it's natural to have a fear of the unknown.

Awww, Bob, I'm so sorry to hear that. You have my sympathy and prayers. I agree with the others that now would be an important time to reach out to face-to-face fellowship with people who will encourage you and be there for you.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
