How many yards fo fabric do i need to put on the back of my quilt? it needs to be 6 inches longer and 6 inches wider than the top that is 60 X 68 inches. Fabric for the back is 45 inchs wide and cost $8.00 per yard.
- 3b-x=12
-3b-x=-3

x=4
For Mamob, this is really pretty simple, even though you confused me at first by adding the part about it being fabric. But I checked with my person who knows about quilting (not me).
18/2.5 = 7.XXX
22/2.5 = 8.XXX, anything after the decimal doesn't matter since you need whole quilt squares. So you can get 7 squares one way and 8 the other for a total of 56 [7 rows of 8 is 56]. This is assuming you are as good at cutting as the quilter I know. Not like me who might be impatient and try to use a rotary cutter without any instruction or practice and really mess things up. If you try it my way you might be lucky to get 40 squares :)
5+ (-4)^3 =
= 5 + -64
= -59
how about : 12 x 5 =
42 x 2=
