A house was built with 3200 square feet. They made a mistake and built it exactly over a huge fault line. There was an earthquake and the right half of the house was completely destroyed. I am trying to cross the desert. I need to get 75 camels for my caravan. Used camels that know the way cost $325 each, but if they are healthy when I get to the other side I can sell them to the camel seller there for $170. What is my initial cost to get the camels? If 3 of my camels die crossing the desert, but the rest are healthy and I sell them back, what will my net cost be in dollars (I mean the amount I had to spend minus what I got back)?
