So far, not impressed. I could not sign in under my old account and ended up having to establish a new one using my WORK email.... NOT good! Also - the most recent posts are from 9 years ago. We can no longer see all posts as an index, and I honestly do not care how many people are online at the moment.
As someone trained in chaplaincy, I cannot stress how critical it is for some people to have access to their online support communities. Often, this support can be the ONLY "safe place" where a suffering person can turn.
Your "upgrade" has the potential to severely disrupt virtual communities that have formed "here." I think you owe us all an apology.
Please have a look at the following things:
- Ported account can't sign in. Have to request a password reset. After logging out can't sign in with the new password.
- New format can't view a large number of posts.
- Can't give a poster a hug who is not yet a friend.
- Doesn't incorporate with Youtube video anymore.
- Doesn't have an option to opt out of notification email if a new reply to a thread is posted.
- Lack of continuity. A number of recent posts from the W&W board were not moved over.
This must be a very bad dream,No....A Nightmare!

Well I'm all for change and cut DS all kinds of slack since I've been a member here but... visually, ugh, this is rough. Maybe if I had all my stuff still intact, it would make more sense, but since I'm missing messages and my hug book appears to represent hugs from several years ago, plus the My Support Groups listed me as a member in groups I don't actually belong to, that may be why it's all kind of hard understand what I'm looking at. Also I changed my password but it only works if I log in using Chrome, which is not my preference. This is what I've found issues with so far. We'll see.
I also find the new format impersonal.... my recent hugs are missing...... posts from years ago.. keep changing password and resetting but it does not work so I have to reset again and again... journal entries that were private are set to public.. this is not user friendly at all... very disappointed in the choices made... ;(
I thought you said we would only have to update our password to be up and running again. It wouldn't allow me to do that, I had to create a second acct. to even get in. How do I reclaim my original ID, (Puffy Chestnut) friends, etc.
Half of the viewing page is covered with the banners at the top. Yuck. Can't see a list of posts, just one at a time. I'm disappointed in what I'm seeing so far. No more cute animated gif avatars allowed?

I hate the "new" look. It's not condusive to "chatting" with anyone.
I like it! To me its clean and not so cluttered.

I still can't find the main board! This is absurd. How do I post my view on something, like this crappy website!!
AND...my friends are not in alphabetical order. I have to go through 5 pages of friends to find one person?!!!
