  Hi all,Has anyone almost fainted during or after phlebotomy?I had my 5th treatment today (started treatments less than 2 months ago) and it went a little quicker than the last few (about 20 mins or so). After the treatment, they took my blood pressure sitting down. Then again when I stood up. However after a few seconds of standing I got really dizzy and had to sit back down. It just continued to get worse. My blood pressure plummeted, every pore on my body was sweating, I felt like my eyes...

  I'm currently sitting in my doctors office waiting for my first therapeutic phlebotomy treatment. I was diagnosed with HH 7 years ago (at a young age of 26) and have been monitoring it since. My ferritin is now at a 400, so although it's not extremely high like a lot of the cases I see on here, we decided to start the phleb treatments as my ferritin increased over 100 in the last few months. So we will be doing 1 treatment a week for the next 4 weeks.What I'm curious about is if HH is affecting...

  Has anyone considered if they have Bile Adic Malabsorption? Or been diagnosed or tested?In my research recently, trying to find another diagnosis outside of IBS, that makes more sense to me, I came across it. It really resonated with me, symptoms aligning perfectly. Interested in learning more and hearing of others experiences.

  Hi All - I'm interested in learning about when others decided to start phlebotomy as I was recently given the choice to start phlebotomy now or continue to just monitor it (I've opted for monitoring). I feel like it's too soon for me to start treatments as my levels aren't too high yet, and my liver levels are perfect.A little more of a background: I'm a 30 year old female and was diagnosed with HH 4 years ago, at 26. I feel very lucky that I was diagnosed at a young age as HH has not yet...
