  Where did that lot come from? I thought I was doing reasonably well with controlling my anxiety. It's been some time now since I had a disturbed night. But then last night happens. 2 hours sleep (I suppose that's better than none), had to get up 3 times due to anxiety. Decided to stay up the third tim. What's the point of going back to bed anyway. I've got an idea what my problem is. I'm frightened of getting old(er) and being left on my own. When I worked I used to leave work at 5.30 and walk...

  Hi everyone. I've just found this web site and joined this group. I do suffer from panic attacks but mostly in the middle of the night. I'll go to sleep ok then after about 2 or 3 hours sleep I suddenly wake up and have to get out of the house. I find that my house doesn't seem big enough and I have to go for a walk, sometimes a short walk, sometimes a long walk. My mind is thinking all sorts of things - ridiculous things actually once I calm down and think about it. But it doesn't matter how...
