  Just had my first Therapy session on Wednesday.  It was nice being around someone who I could be completely honest with.  I didn't even have the impulse to lie.  I think because I have finally accepted myself as a liar it made it easier to let go and just be me in the session.  She had some great insights from listening to me talk about my past kn where she thinks the lying may have started.  It was thought provoking to say the least.  I highly recommend therapy for anyone struggling...

  I finally told both my dad and my mom that I am a habitual liar.  I told them that none of my lies were major lies or done with intent of hurting anybody, I stilled lied to everybody I have ever known or loved in one way or the other.  Mostly to boost myself up, or to try and keep people happy because I was scared of the recourse and pain that honesty would have brought to them and to myself.  Both of my parents were very understanding and forgiving.  It was a relief.  My dad took it...

  Hello, I am not sure how this is going to work, but I am glad I found this group.  I have been a habitual liar most of my life and I have finally come to accept it.  I am ready to start the process to heal and recover because I am tired of hurting the ones I love.  It never seemed that the lies I was telling were a big deal because they were small and were mostly said to keep people happy, but I acknowledge that they were also said to protect myself from any cosequences that may occur.  I...
