  Just wondering. In today's world money is an integral part of our life - in any form.Property, jewelry, cash, car/ machines etc. So how can a family really control an addict from keeping money away. If cash is over, there are still other means of getting money. I read in few posts that some of them even sell/ mortgage their homes. But then where does he live? Won't he stop at this stage now!!!

  Thank you all for your previous advice. Well the banks are visiting the family, however they are not repaying the bank. In the meantime the addict is showing a bit of rebellious behavior by saying he can come back to city and get a job only once banks are paid. He blames family for not supporting him enough financially. so he is putting the family in a spot instead of accepting his mistake. Gosh, tough nut to crack. Family wants to avoid being too harsh with him so he doesn't do something...

  So this addict I know is currently in debt and banks have started approaching his family members. How should they deal with this situation.If they help him clear the dues, he will again take fresh loans which will again lead him to gamble. If they don't help him out there is a risk of him maybe getting hopeless.Is this the point when they hit rock bottom? How does the family know.Please help

  So my question is at some point the addict falls into debt trap. Then what? He can't gamble because he has no funds. Because this is the point where his family and friends also refuse to give him money.and the banks he has already defaulted.What is going on in his mind at this point. What is his action plan

  Hi,So I know someone who Gamble's. My question is when he asks for money how do I know if it's for a genuine reason and not because he wants to use it for his habit
