  Hello,When i have issues, my doctor does one, or several, single fiber emgs?   These are uncomfortable to have done, and not very informative, at least to my understanding.  Does your doctor use a single fiber emg every time you have a need for medication change?Thx, Joel

  Hi to all,Was wondering what was their typical response time when emailing their neurologist to get an answer.  I don't want to be a bother as I know there are patients that have emergency situations, but also want to feel heard in a timely manner.  Previously, I got fairly quick responses by email, (within a week or two), but now it has taken months to get a reply on email (in regards to switching my therapy), and, as you know, these can be long months.  Is this typical?  (I like email,...

  Tingly Sensation with MG

  Hello to all,I notice a tingly sensation in my arms, not quite painful, but definitely uncomfortable, and I only notice this when my MG gets worse.  Does anyone else have this kind of sensation with their mg?Thx, Joel

  Hello,Please help.  I am looking for help in finding another medication for my overall weakness.  Of course I will use information to make suggestions to my neurologist.  (I have a plasma Xchange scheduled, but have not been able to get my neurologist to make alternative medication recommendations as yet in past 5 months........ :-(I am taking 25mg of prednisone daily (YUCK!), as well as methotrexate 20mg once a week.  I can function throughout the day as far as walking, eating, driving,...

  Hi there,I have not been on mestinon for years, but now, getting worse, even though taking more prednisone (25mg/day) , coupled with Methotrexate, and tried mestinon again, at 30mg(I think) every 4 hours for two days, and my symptoms/weakness got worse.... I was wondering if anyone else had that happen?Thx - Joel
