  I would like to recommend the book “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” to many people in this group. I do not have a lying problem but this book helped with my anxiety and as a read many comments, some of the things from the book would be helpful in your situations. Maybe if you ”gave less f*cks” as the author so delicately puts it, you wouldn’t feel compelled to lie to hide uncomfortable truths or avoid conflict or difficult situation.
