  My wife told me on Nov. 12 that she had ended an affair in October that had lasted since July 2014. I was absolutely blindsided. I wrote one post here back in November but haven't posted since. We are doing really well overall - she has been completely committed and remorseful. We've had one couples therapy session (more scheduled this month), I've been in therapy, and she has started individual therapy too.   Sincere apologies in advance for how long this will be. I don't know how to tell the story without the backstory.My wife and I have been married for more than 20 years.
