  i had surgery in November 2017 with hopes that I might go into remission.ever since surgery things have gradually become worse.i had IVIG for 5 days prior to going on trip for 8 days. The day after infusions I have fought with headaches everyday and night. I’m altering with ibuprofen and Tylenol for the headaches and hydrating which only causes me to pee more. My urgency has gotten worse that I’m up 3 Times a night and having to wear pads cuz I cannot get to bathroom in time. I can hardly...

  I had my thymoma removed and as much of my thymus gland as possible using the VATS approach on Tuesday and am now at home recuperating. I pray this does the trick. Trying to get my lungs working again is harder than I thought. Am hoping to go back to work next week, but time will tell. My neurologist and cardiologist are optimistic, but I keep remembering that there is no cure, but I would feel really blessed if I could go into remission.

  thank you for your responses. I am so stressed out about having infusions next week.so, is surgery pretty much a given with this disease? I am supposed to see surgeon next month. I do not want a sternotomy if at all possible. I am trying to see if I could be a candidate for robotic surgery. I have definitely noticed that stress makes it worse. I'm having a PFT test today and have caught a cold so not sure if they will do it or not today. Does anyone know if having a cold makes a difference in...

  Hi. I was diagnosed with MG about a month ago. This is all new to me as I amentioned sure it is for all. I was shocked when they told me that my infusions would be everyday for 5 days. I guess I thought I would just go in and out in one day. MG has not effected my legs or feet, just neck pain, double vision, arm strength & a little problem with drinking & eating at times, but since being on pyridostigm 60 MG 3x aday, now on. 4 a day, it has helped a lot.
