Nearly done...
Went to get my things from the storage unit. I had more in there than I remembered. Moving stuff by yourself sucks. I took one last look at everything left in the unit and closed the door. He will make one last trip to the house to get his furniture and then we are done. I'm starting to feel scared. Up until now I was dealing with the whole moving out thing and the shock of the situation. Now I'm starting to think about me. Alone. Yes- I'm whining and feeling sorry for myself. I'm going to do some redecorating- I have to make things different . I can't stand looking at the empty spaces where his things used to be. But at least I stopped thinking it was him every time I hear a car door slam. I live for the day I can put a happy face on here.

As the days go by it get's bearable, then one day it's as if your life becomes everything you ever wanted it to be, the future possibility is endless. Hang in there. Hugs.

Hugs, my friend. You are going through that horrible emotional roller coaster ride. I was the same, I was there when he came to get his belongings or what the court said he can have. I was hell. But we will survive and flourish. When you do see them, smile turn around and walk away, with head held up high. Cry if you want to, whine and scream. Let it all out. Tears are our pressure cooker release valves. Let them flow. One day you will see that you are smiling more and laughing too. Hugs
You are going to have ups and downs. Sometime it will seem the "down" will never end. But it does. It will. Just keep telling yourself "I will get through the this"... Because you will.
