I turned 51 on January 25
I was ok when I turned 30. I was ok when I turned 40. I was ok when I turned 50. But turning 51 has really depressed me. Wtf.
I guess I look at the last 10 years and think CRAP. My quality of life is just not what it was and never will be. I'm grateful I have a roof over my head and disability to pay bills but the QUALITY just sucks.
Anyway, my brother was sweet and took a day of vacation, drove down and took me to the beach for the day. I really needed somebody to do something special for me and he must have intuitively known I guess. I love him very much. I'm blessed to have him. Later that evening my stepmom and Victor came over and we all went out for supper. My stepmom had an itty bitty cake for me and after they sang Happy Birthday I made a wish but didn't quite blow out all the candles. There were 2 candles lol. Guess I don't get my wish. My "wish" was to find my purpose in life. Hahahaha. Oh well.

oh what a nice story! You have around you some people who really care about you.
I am close to your age and so I understand that it can effect you sometimes.
Just from the little you\'ve expressed with disability etc.. I live a life similar to yours. I know it can get you down..You\'ve got a sense of humor though, which is great!!! Happy Birthday to You!!! Big hug!!
