Euro Entry #2

I'm in the Stockholm airport headed to Amsterdam. I'm quite excited. Stockholm hasn't been the best place. Everything was closed and empty by around 10. Doesn't help that it's a Sunday. But I'm in Europe, I'm not with my family, and I'm backpacking to 5 cities in 12 days. I'm literally living one of my bucket list woshes right now, so no matter what I won't complain!

I'm really excited to get to Amsterdam. Chill get through the city, some good food, biking through the city... should be a good part of the trip. So I'm really looking forward to it.

I think overall it's been good. I don't like the having to update my family constantly but I guess compromise is the best option. I'm travelling so messaging them every few hours to let them know I'm alive will make my life easier and will keep them from stopping me when I want to travel again. So compromise it is. I'm not happy with it, but I need to find middle ground.

I still can't really stop thinking about having told my parents I'm seeing a therapist and I'm considering saying that I stopped. I had told them I went 3 times but I also said I started in July. So I was thinking I'd say I went three times didn't feel it was useful so I stopped. But I'm worried that if I do say that and they ever find out this will be a total disaster. Not sure how to approach it. I'm just worried they'll find a way to figure out what I say or they start asking more questions. I don't know how to approach it honestly.

You are an adult. Why do you need to tell them anything about the therapist? That is something that you do for YOU, not for them. Take lots of pictures on your trip so that someday when DS allows pics, we can all see Europe. :)
