At this point I'm FED UP, boiling

I've been in nursing homes & assisted living facilities.  The buck passing that goes on has me so pissed off I want to punch someone in administration, because I can't get anything DONE (even when they SAY they are starting the paperwork).  Then again, they would tell me I should be punching someone ELSE.  I am so damn frustrated waiting for a new assisted living to invite me; then again it's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY or someone has to die to create a vacancy.  I hate assisted living; I hate nursing homes where I have NO PRIVACY.  It's so miserable...sometimes I just wish I'd pass away in my sleep.....

Dearest Gene. I\'ve finally taken the plunge back into DS, and reading what you have written, I know the timing is right. Actually, my timing stinks. I should have been back here moths ago. The laws won\'t change, if ever, on giving you, me, all the people around us who share debilitating illnesses/any condition where there is little or no hope of recovery, and consequently dumped into homes, for anywhere else, like the real home from whence they dame, just isn\'t OK with relatives and/or friends who are suffering this s**t as you are... as \"we\" all are. If we had just one loving friend or relative, (more than one would be better), who would take the time to take care of \"us\", in their very busy lives; lives they are able to live without the complications of a wheel-chair in their way, or any other problem we, the complicated ones, could benefit from. Love and tender care is so much better than sterile nursing home kind of care. Love is truly the first and most effective way to bring the lies of of us some joy and happiness; feeling needed. Laws MUST be changed, where euthanasia seems to be the proper end to a life without quality, an end with dignity . . . this is some comeback . . . and I apologise for upsetting others here who do not believe in going, by choice, not by the pain of our illnesses. Having said that, I believe in the former .. . .
