A new day

ive decided to head to the beach later after an attempt to a productive day. A good friend of mine of 15 years thinks sitting by the ocean to clear my head would do some good for me .. why do I wish my ex would want any part of this? Maybe I'm delusional..  this is so different than a break up.. I take marriage very seriously.. being given up on doesn't feel so good.. they are acting like this is the best for us instead of working on it for the thousandth time.. I'm angry... I'm a passion filled woman with anger... good lord love a duck have mercy on my thoughts.. I want to go back to bed.

believe it or not, it actually does get easier with time I know its a cliché but it does. I'm in my second month of a breakup of my marriage and even though everyday is a constant struggle, its very slowly getting better. Just try to hang in there and stay busy to try and distract your thoughts :)

Thank you. I'm struggling. I feel this overwhelming emotion of sadness. I'm sitting here drinking coffee and this is usually the time I'd get that infamous "hey love, thinking of you this morning" text. I'll have to get used to a lot I suppose. Such an overwhelming process. Do you find that it gets easier at night as well some how? That's when it's the hardest for me.

its harder at night because that's when I've finally stopped for the day and my brain starts thinking things over, the days are becoming easier slightly though. The little things are the hardest to get over, like the texts at certain times and even not wearing your ring. I'm here if you need support though I know how tough it is

Yes!! Not wearing my ring is so hard as well. My brain doesn't stop at night. I put meditation music on and try to sleep but insomnia has become such a problem for me. Thanks for being here! I hope you find strength in your day today! I'm here for you as well!

Thank you I appreciate that :) once you get over those little things you will gradually start to get over the bigger things. If certain times of the day are hard for you like try to plan something else for that time instead, then slowly that will become your new routine. That's what I've started to do, its an extremely slow process as I'm painfully finding out but eventually life does get easier :)

Try not to process everything at once. Break up the tougher moments with pleasant distractions. Such as music or reading etc
