Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
Now what?
I'm leaving for Florida in a couple of weeks with my son and family. I don't want to have to deal with any of this anymore. I want to move on and meet someone who's man enough to cherish me...and change the things about him that need changing. I can't do this anymore.
It's exactly what I reclaimed when i hit send.
enough is enough
Thank you.
It won't be easy getting through the next little while..weeks, months maybe. I know I'll have setbacks.
But today I feel much much lighter having FINALLY had my say. Why didn't I think of it sooner?
I haven't answered.
Write down how this feels. Every little detail, and keep it near you. Take it to Florida. And if ever you feel sad or look back at the event with anything REMOTELY resembling melancholy, pop open that passage and bask in the glory of this moment -- this power -- all over again.
Hugs to you, Miss!
We're done being 'nice' girls . .. . we're women. Time to re-evaluate all those social conditioning beliefs embedded in our souls.
I state what I do above because sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. Narcissists don't like a power shift, and many will do whatever they can to regain their sense of control. That has been my experience. 'May the force be with you,' to borrow a phrase.
I know he'll keep trying. It has been a trend for him.
I'm just so utterly offended by him. I even told him at one point during our interraction earlier. I said 'if someone asks you to eat shit, will you do it? ya, me neither.' He's so THICK.
I know I'm feeling the power now, it's still fresh, but i am dreading the plunge into despair..sadness, nostalgia. Need to get through those moments. sigh..
