Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
Good for you for having such a great day AND leaving your phone at home !!
You all give me strength....all of you.
I was doing so well and he had to go and screw it all up. He texted me again and called once since I got home. I don't know what to do. I feel empowered but very weak at the same time because I so want to answer.
His last msg to me was an invitation for me and my son to go parading with him in little Italy since we won the game. He's so full of sh*t because he knows my son goes to bed in an hour. UGH!
Enjoy that feeling because you are in charge of you. He's trying to get HIS way right now. You know what's best for you and giving in to his wants is not what you need. Where is he when you want him ?? He's no where and can't answer you right ?
Since you son is safely in your keep, is there anyway you could take your phone battery out tonight? Just so you can breathe?
Just a thought.
I will take a step back on this one.
What am I missing?
He just drove away. He rang my doorbell a few times and called and now just left. He's never gone this far as to just show up. Then again, I never stood my ground as much as I have today..
Others are MUCH BETTER equipped to help at this point. So I'm stepping back AND apologizing. I'm sorry to add to your angst tonight. I truly am. :/
I hope it all goes well!
You are absolutely right, it woudl help me tonight. I'm just imagining how he'd react and given that he has already shown up here, I'm afraid it will fuel him to come on even stronger which will in turn weaken me. I know him and I know myself, more importantly. I feel liek I shoudl face him somehow but I have to remain in a strong place, which I'm not ready for. So yeah, I think you're idea would at least hold me over for tonight and hopefully I will wake up with more strength.
Please continue to contribute to this thread, I didn't mean to offend you. :(
I think I would text him back and you have a choice at this point.
One--to keep it going
Two--to say something like, "I'm fine. I didn't respond because I have had some perspective around how unhealthy this relationship is for me and my life."
I don't really have a closing line because I am not sure that you are ready to say, "I'm moving on." It just seems like a big game.
What do you think?
