How do you know when you are ready to date? Is it when you are no longer thinking about your late spouse? Is it when your heart is totally healed? Is it when your not afraid of being left alone? So many people say they are not ready, but how do you know? The pain seems forever. Missing him and remembering him will be forever. Fear of rejection is normal. Fear of being alone has taken on a whole new meaning in our lives. So, how exactly do you know when you are ready? Just wondering.

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Coming through it not as Mrs......but who you are. Sharon
Best wishes, Russ
I think you will know when it's time by listening to what your heart is trying to tell you.
I had a guy knock at my door the day after the funeral, ask me to marry him.... duh.... (musta thought he had life insurance).... lol
As for me, I will leave it to fate. I am not ready to seek or meet anyone, but I am ready to venture out to widen my social circle.
Sandee, you make me laugh, the only hot, hot, hot widow I know is La Veuve Clicquot. ;)
