I miss him being silly and talking as different characters..I miss kissing him.... and hugs.......
I do find Thursday's and the weekends the most painful out of all the painful days of the week. Every other weekend is the time I would spend with my wife. I have to work every other weekend, so this was a special time for me, always, to spend time with my wife. We always went out for rides together, pick up the grandchildren and get some groceries, doing what we needed to do and then enjoying our time together and our hobbies.
I do miss everything about my wife.
I miss his call at lunch time just to see how my day was going. Talking to friends and coworkers is not the same. They all have their own life to live.
We were married for 49 years. As we got older, we led a relatively quiet life. But it was a good quiet -- warm and comforting. Little things made me happy: seeing him after work; hearing his voice; holding his hand, looking over in the middle of the night and seeing him there. I wish I could propel myself backward into any one of those little moments.
It is so hard . . . as you all know!

I also miss his hugs, his wisdom (he was the wise reasonable one). I miss his constant love and his telling me I look perfect even if of course it was not true, but the eyes of the beholder...
Basically, I miss him full stop.
