Oh I definitely miss those trivial conversations, they meant so much.
When I replied "yeah, ok"
He would say, "great, get me a cup too, would you"
That and hearing him say, "Hey, look, it's 11:11" He always noticed when the time hit 11:11 AM or PM. Sharon

And every Friday night we would go the 10 miles in to the Mexican restaurant in town for dinner and at some point in the ride (or earlier in the day...or even the day before), one of us would ask, "What are you gonna have?". It was just a silly little competition to see who could ask it first but it always gave us a good laugh.
There were so many things.......so many things.....

"Dreamer40", we did the same question when driving to our favorite restaurants..."So what do you think you'll have?"
When driving on trips, he did all the driving, I read maps well and we never got lost.
I told our 2 boys that I was Dad's Navigator. They'd tease and say I was really his "Nag-igator"...so I called myself his Nag-igator to the very end. We laughed a lot together. I'd tell stories and always finish with, "Right, Dad?"...and he'd agree saying, "Right, Dad." And we'd laugh again...just typing that brings tears...
I guess for trivial stuff today it would either be the fact that David Bowie just released a new album - his first in several years and it's supposed to be wonderful as music was an integral part of our life together; OR maybe the news that the next royal baby is due in July. Princess Diana was pregnant with Prince William when I was pregnant with our first child, and our friends kidded us a lot about our own "crown prince."
