I've been sitting here for 30 minutes starting this post. Delete and start over and over again. All I know is I lost my husband of 32 years 4 months ago. I'm lost and have no idea what to do now. My heart is broken in a million pieces. Sometimes I can't breathe. I cry all day everyday. I can hardly leave the house I miss him so much.

So sorry to read this. The same thing happened to me, but it has been 18 months now. It gets a little easier some days, but you can expect that some days will still feel like the first day. Just don't get discouraged with yourself. Everyone grieves differently. Take your time.

You are not alone. We all understand and get the need to just let it out. I lost my husband almost 23 months ago after almost 30 years of an awesome life together. So hard to accept that it's over. Of course our hearts are completely shattered. Try to join a bereavement group or look for griefshare. It helps some to connect with others who understand. It does change but it takes a lot of time. I still have hard days but am doing ok. By the grace of God. I wish you peace Marybeth

I lost my husband of 42 years on July 10, 2017. I had quit my job after a year fmla. I felt it was my responsibility to take care of him. He had heart trouble and was on dialysis three times a week. We knew the dr,s couldn't do anything more for him, but losing him was still hard...I don't cry as much as I expected to, I still feel numb...We all grieve differently, please be kind to yourself.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am going through the same things. I lost my husband on March 2, 2017. Next month our anniversary we would have been married 40 Years. I don't know how to live without him. I guess we have to take one day at a time. My whole body aches for him. What hurts the most is seeing other couples. They say it gets easier, I don't think so. Everyone says they know how I feel. NO YOU DON"T. Unless you lost your spouse. I am praying for you, God Bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was married 31 years and have been widowed for a year. I am not sure it gets easier, but I think after awhile you get more used to it. I am glad you found this site................we are all here for you.
