Last week I started a discussion regarding what to do with Darrell's wedding ring (and mine, as well). Thank you all for the wonderful and heartwarming ideas, suggestions and shared stories.
I decided to wear them on a chain around my neck. Because I have metal allergies, I ordered a non-allergenic gold chain (more retail therapy - but THIS purchase was not on a whim).
Today is the 5-month anniversary of Darrell's death. Guess what! The chain arrived in the mail this afternoon! Coincidence? I think not - I KNOW not. Proof to me that Darrell is communicating (but - God! - I wish I could hear his voice again!).
I wanted to put my ring on the chain with Darrell's ring but my heart isn't quite ready for that, yet. So, my ring stays comfortably on my left ring finger and my honey's ring lays comfortably near my heart.
Thank you all again for all your input. Every one of them helped, and I am so at peace today because of them and you all. And, I'm believing more and more in miracles.

Congradulations on doing what feels good in your heart. You control you own life now. You are priority 1 now. And we are walking with you into tomorrow. Hugs to you. Sharon

I am only at 6 weeks on Monday and I don't plan on taking my rings off for awhile. But I did buy a gold chain for his wedding band and wear around my neck. Yes it brings me comfort too having it near my heart.

I wear an eternity ring which I feel is appropriate as I will always love Chris no matter how and if I do move on romantically in my life.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
