As I continue to have one problem after another trying to get my house put back together after a flood, the sadness and grief return as a I approach my 3rd year Anniversary, Sure I can do it all. I am doing it all. But as I sit here and feel so angry at my "DGI" friends, I just want to lash out, IF my husband were here, I wouldn't be looking for health insurance, trying to get a will/estate plan together, doing the taxes, paying the bills, maintaining 2 houses and trying to sell them, now delayed due to the water leak / flood. Overwhelmed and dealing with it all in my way and I will survive and get through this. I think part of my anger comes from my married friends not appreciating their spouses and realizing how fortunate
they are to have them . Thanks for listening this too shall pass , and I am very Grateful for what I do have , I feel like this is the only place I can share my feelings and be understood.

The past year and a half since his death I had the house renovated and was that ever stressful making all the decisions and not knowing if I was completely off the wall. I spent months emptying out the house, arranging a cross country move to be near family. The house sold quickly but then I also had flooding right before closing and that was a whole new can of worms to take care of.
I do get so aggravated when I hear of someone who wants to leave their spouse because they are bored or have "fallen out of love." Whatever that means. Sometimes I want this bad dream to be over, to wake up and find my DH beside me in bed, alive and well.
