I came home one night to find a gigantic mosquito on the wall in the foyer. My condo is partially underground, so I get a lot of these huge mosquitoes that are almost the size of my hand, just outside of my front door and by the stairwell. The mosquito must have followed me in when I opened the door. I tried to kill it at first with a tissue, but I totally missed. It flew away over my head and I searched every room to find it. I did not want that thing to bite me in my sleep! So I was walking around looking for that mosquito with the lights turned on in the rooms and hoping that the brightness would attract it to come out. After some time, I started to feel discouraged and I was about to give up, but I asked my husband, David to help me find this darn thing. I reminded him that he never liked these mosquitoes either. Immediately after I finished saying that out loud, something urged me to go straight to the bathtub. The bathtub was not a place I would not even think to look and it was dark there. It was just so odd that I felt the need to go look in the bathtub of all places at that very moment. To my relief, I found the mosquito sitting in the corner on top of the tub! I was able to kill it this time with a broom and I thanked David for helping me find the mosquito. Plus, I slept well that night. This story is another validation that my husband is still with me and watches over me. I am a strong believer that our loved ones are still with us in spirit and they help us through situations like these sometimes. It is much appreciated when I would get these little "tips" from Above.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
He's the one to whom I turn for comfort when I cry, and he stills my tears and calms my heart, just like he did when he was physically here.
I like jhafford's reply: she has a new guardian angel. Me, too, J. It's the little peace I get in this grieving process.
And jfisher: LOLOLOL!
