I've got a friend who's male, he's been messaging and txting me since Ric died; supportive of course, saying he cares, when I've ranted that no one else does etc. Well I had a bit to drink last nite listening to music from the 90s reminiscing good memories, and he txt to ask if I was ok, I told him what I was doing and that I needed a good night out; he said he did to, and that he will come up and see me (he lives a way away thank god) and we can have loads of beer and a takeaway and a big cuddle. You don't say that to a grieving woman, do you? So I ignored the txt, he txt me this morning to ask how I was, then txt me kisses, then txt me to ask how my days been, then txt to ask if he can come up on the 4th Feb for our nite in. I think he's getting the wrong signals, do you???? If he came up and drank loads of beer, where wud he sleep? I said I wanted a nite out, not nite in. If he is getting the wrong idea, I'm disappointed, I thought he was a friend; or is it just my sensitive emotional state????
