Whoooppeeee !!!!
I went to dinner and movie with a friend who just lost her job after only being there for 4 months.
When I have evening's like this I play these thoughts in my mind often of... What am I doing with the rest of my life?, I am getting older alot faster than I ever imagined to.... Is this what it's going to be like until I die too?
I will never try a dating site and I don't have a big social circle (it is there, though) and I had quit my job in 2008 to be with my husband for the 6 mo. before he died. (can't go back, since that part of the company sold out).
What to do, where to go,what's the meaning of life anymore....it's all a big mystery. I will be visiting for over a month to see the kids/grandkids, 1 in Vegas and the other in Canada. My life revolves around visiting them now.
I keep thinking I will find a part-time job, but who would hire if one travels twice a year at a month or longer at a time.
Keep plugging away, Pete! It will surely get better!

I hear ya. The highlight of my evening is when I hear that a 'new' episode of a series is on instead of a rerun. Now that's exciting; oh, and maybe pretzels and a Coke or a hot fudge sundae to go along with that thrilling episode. Oh well, I guess better day are around the cornerthere might even be a first-run movie playing! TJ
