Initially, I thought that men my age were looking old and haggard. But, I've seen quite a few who looked really attractive! The last one I saw, I wish I could cross his path again. I know my eyes were bugging out of my head. He noticed me too and I couldn't stand it, I had to look down. But it was the whole package. His well pressed suit, his saunter, his confidence, his smile and his friendliness. Presence is what caught my attention. His features were nice too. Another was working at the DIY store. Physical labor paid off for him.

I say good for you!!!! And I'm sure your husband would want you to be happy too. I was married for 26 years this April and am just starting to "look" around myself. It's so weird isn't it??

Summer months are good for sightseeing in my neck of the woods. The tourists come out in full force. Not much here on a regular basis though. Hunting season is also good. It can go both ways. Either you see the OMG's or the LOL's.

He was a widow like me, and thought he was too old to find someone too. There are guys out there and if you have to enjoy the scenery for a while it's not a hardship either. LOL. Sharon

My husband aunt buried 5 husbands out of the 6 she had....

She divorced 1st one,at 20, was married 2nd time for 30 years. One died after being married to her 3 weeks. she kept on going. until she died at age 98, again a widow.

she used to say "I gotta have a man", and wouldn't sleep with them until she was married... so it was always in a hurry...

I went out with friends on Saturday night and was sitting at a table across from the bar. This is a funny topic. I have smiled at your responses and lol at some. But for me, I never really was attracted to the physical person. It was all about what was between the ears. And now, I don't know if it is because I am still in the middle of my grief, but I don't think I could ever risk being in love again. I could not do this again, I don't think I would survive. Although a male friend to have dinner with now and again wouldn't be bad!

I'm with you Alli, the thought of going through becoming a widow again is enough to keep me single forever!

What does everyone think, is this just human nature? I've found that I'm looking as well and really other than to tease my hub I couldn't care less about another man when he was alive. I find myself checking them out and looking at the ring finger. How crazy is that?? Of course the ones whom I would call "eye candy" are all sporting that big wide gold band !!! lol

I also look at the ring finger.( That can be misleading.) no, we are not crazy! We are alone. We are single. And available. We just don't realize it, yet!
