Your so right, I remember when my sweet daughter came back from Iraq and her husband was not there and he had left her for a co worker, I told her mama, do not dwell on him, he was not what God had in mind for you. He was a stepping stone to the one you are supposed to be with. He may of been someone she needed to know and love to be able to be ready to understand and love the one God had planned for her.
She was young and did not understand but I told her to make two lists of bad and good of him. She did and her bad was longer than the good. I told her to focus on this list when she missed him.
She did, it helped her to love again the right man that she is now with, he also is airman and they just had their second child who I am so glad to be visiting now.
I told her not to focus on the past but to focus on her day she was on and not worry what tomorrow would bring, because what ever it was, it was in Gods plan and all she had to do was have faith.
Each day, is a gift from God and all we have to do is thank Him and believe it because in His plan we will be with our loved ones again.
Best regards,
Vicki
You gave me food for thought and good ones too. I think I need to print those words out and put on my refrigerator....
Thanks from my humble self....

There is a saying that goes something like this: The cup that you drink your joy from, you also drink your sorrow. It means that as much as we are able to experience one, we are able to experience the opposite.
Some people go about their lives kind of middle road. I am just the opposite, I have peaks and valleys all over the place. I have experienced the highest highs (joy that I was sure was more heaven than earth), and therefore I have felt the lowest lows.
Some day I plan on being able to think of forever again, but for now...two years and 9 months after losing my Denny...I am happy still putting one foot in front of the other and taking one step at a time.
Lots of hugs sent your way...

Truth is that we DON'T know what tomorrow brings, so living for today, is THE WHOLE LIFE!!! Day by day, and hopefully giving something to smile about with each of them.

Things started to go wrong in this house now, leaking sinks, toilets, and outside work to be done....no money...but I have to think of the future and find a way to fix it. It doesnt "feel right" to keep this house..so that means I should sell it, right? I have had it on my mind for months now.
