I sure wish you could be here with us. I'm not worried about ice and snow yet. I checked the weather forecast, and it's supposed to be close to 60 during the day with just a chance of a few showers. So, any who are reading this, don't put the chains on your tires yet :>) I think we're gonna be OK. We may have to use the fireplace as an outside fire pit for those S'mores if we get those sprinkles, but one way or another we're havin' S'mores!!!
We'll miss you, Darlene. TJ
TJ..let me know where to go and when on that friday night..please
I sent you a private message with time, place, and details for Friday. As I mentioned in my PM, there will be 10 arriving on Friday night, and they will have a chance to unwind here at my home with supper and some R&R after their travels. Saturday there will be 14 attending, as of this post.
If a nature walk in the maple syrup sugar bush, aka just plain woods, appeals to any of you, bring some walk-in-the-woods duds. Not sure that will appeal to anyone after traveling, but I thought I would throw it out to you anyhow. And just in case you're wondering, Lori, no, I want make you tap any trees.
If there are others who are thinking they would like to take a drive to Ohio, the more the merrier. These Gatherings are not exclusive by any stretch of the imagination. As Linda (Lininsocal) said so well, 'These get together's are not a cry feast, they are inspirational, helpful, comforting and offer us a really nice time." I guess my only addition to that would be that we will have a Yee Haw time as we enjoy just being ourselves and not someone who others think we should be.
Hope others decide to take the plunge and join us. TJ
