Ever since my wife was taken from me after suffering for over three years, I wasn't happy at all. I blamed God for everything. My wife moved on and left me alone with a tremendous mess. It was as if I had to start from scratch again. I remember since my car was in the body shop going on two weeks, I had to call an Uber to pick me up from the hospital. As the car approached I remember wishing it would go out of control and run me over and kill me since it seemed I had nothing left to do now that Samantha was gone.
My daughter flew down from the northeast and stayed with me for a couple of days to help out, but when she left, there I was again in an empty house. I told God "This is your fault! We were scraping by, we had a life, why did you have to take her and leave me here like this."
Everything was coming at me fast and furious, my daughter sent me a plane ticket to come up to her house and when I got on the plane, for the first time since Samantha died, I didn't want the plane to crash. I'm not sure what happened, but I was locked in this aluminum tube with 130 other people, each with their own life, and ups and downs. When the plane landed in Newark most of the people were clapping and a woman sitting next to me with a beautiful smile on her face offered me some candy. I took it, put it in my mouth and the next thing I knew I was talking to the flight crew and commending then for a great flight. It was my birthday, and I wasn't going to spend it alone.
While I was there my daughter confided in me that she had a mammogram and they discovered some areas of concern. A biopsy was ordered, but it came after I was home. She told me that it would be five business days for an answer, and that's when I did it. I made peace with God, I told him I will obliterate the line in the sand I have drawn and I no longer blamed him for what happened to me. I simply asked him to keep his hands off my daughter, because I need her more than He does and she doesn't deserve to suffer that kind of nightmare.
Two days later I was chatting with her mother which we had never done before in over 25 years and the good news came by way of a notification from her Facebook account. I posted my "prayer" on my Facebook page the day after the biopsy and sure enough it was answered three days early. My daughter was thrilled that my prayer was answered and so was I. I feel good, I feel like God and me have made up and so now I'm moving on to someone else who needs his help now that I have his attention.
People have always told me that I was left behind for a reason and maybe this is it, but if you're in pain or you know someone in pain, ask Him for His help. If it worked for me after all of the awful things I said to Him, I'm sure it can work for you good people.
Sebastian Di Mattia look me up on Facebook to see the prayer I laid at His feet.

I have a friend whose aunt had a traumatic heart attack and serious stroke. she was pronounced brain dead, they unhooked her, moved her to a nursing home. Her relative was there with her, and he asked her if she was ready to go home, she raised up, kicked off the blankets, and mouthed no... she is talking etc now.. how's that for a miracle from god!!! God bless you, hugs carla
Questions, doubts, not understanding our predicament
But we have His assurance that His grace is sufficient
I pray for strength for each of us as we continue our journey

I wanted to say to hang in there, and know that God didn't take her intentionally from you her job was done here on earth just like my husband Bob's job was also done here on earth. I feel your pain. It hurts badly. I still can't believe that he is not here anymore with me. I know that we all can get thru this but it is just going to take 1 day at a time. We all need to keep our faith because with out that we have nothing. Feel free to email me if you want to at tstrzezewski@gmail.com
Here is a hug my friend.

God did take her intentionally, she was suffering for over three years and the last month leading to her last days were the worst. I selfishly wanted her back just to have her lying on the couch with me taking care of her again, but that wouldn't be fair to her. She's at peace now, no more suffering and I am living a calm solitary life right now. There were days when I wanted to end my life, but those days are behind me. I look forward to what lies ahead; it won't be easy, but I will survive.
Peace and hugs right back at you.
