I am new to this group. I lost my husband in February 2018 and I am so lost, sad, broken, lonely, etc. This site was recommended to me.

The early weeks are very hard. Are you able to get any counseling where you are? I found it helpful during the first few months as it gave me a safe place to cry and talk. Just a thought.

This is not a group any of us want to belong to, but I can tell you it was my saving grace in the early days of this journey. I came here and poured my heart out because it felt like no on around me really understood. Everyone here was gracious and kind. It has been almost a year now for me. I still miss him everyday. I come here just to reaffirm what I am feeling is not out of the ordinary. Take care and take heart. You are never alone when you are here. Hugs! Betty

Welcome Sheila, I am sorry for your loss.
I lost my husband in February also.
There are very nice people in this group that understands what we are going through.
We’re all walking this path together. Hugs
