First of all my next door neighbor has been wanting to buying my place for 30+ thousands of dollars less than what it is worth....SO I have all along felt he wants me to fail...
Second In my opinion he has done nothing to help me out that much, only if I bug him because it something his neighborhood doings messes me up.
SO as I have written I have been pumping my pond down as it floods into my hay storage/ and pasture so this neighbor decides to put water in the ditch that goes through my place into his very large pond....
BUT every year the little ditch runs over, water seeps through flooding my pasture and pond. HE did after much complaining line it last year but each year the elk and deer put holes in it. I keep the horses off the area (for yrs) because of it..
WELL I had my pond down to little or nothing and woke up to it all over extensively, called him at 6 (as he leaves for work very early) to shut it down...he was very pissy and we got into a shouting match. HE said it was my reponsibility to keep the ditch clean (it plugged up the screen in this incidence) not his. WELL I do not put the ditch on full force NEVER HAVE and do not need it. SO I have a bad cold, have been feeling like crap last few days I let him have it. I think neighbors heard us for miles...
I called our North Conservation District on the water situation (it comes from the nearby river which we have jr water rights) as I know in the pst he always put the gates up too high for his jr rights MY husband would go and take care of it. SO I am going to have them see if he is doing that, and have them show me how to shut it down if I need to. Also regulate the flow, I know he will be poed but I am tired of this.
He is the kind of guy that has no respect for women, his common law wife of 25 yrs he treats well not super well. I guess I just feel he can run all over me without ROger here.
NEEDED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST I did not want to get bad feelings between us going as we have tip toed around him all these yrs living here to keep neighborly peace I just have had it...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
North COnservation District came out (MY old co worker and friend) is now in charge - good news: legally my neighbor can not divert irrigation water rights for pond only irrigation which his pond is fish rearing - so I have a ace in the hole I guess they say - play ball with me I won't squawk OH I mean I am bad!!! AND this friend is taking all complaints from them himself so I do not have to deal with them...he is looking into regulartory issues ....NOT that I knew that or wanted to shut his pond down but ....again my card to use.
Also his pond is taking in too much water so I got to be shown how to shut gate down so I can now say I only want this flow amount in my ditch period and if you do not like it than the above will be used...
Bad news his pond leaks so much water in high water flow it is contributing to my overflow in my pasture and pond thus flooding. PUTTING in pipe in my ditch will help still will have some high water flow but will take care of excess amount so much...but the cost is 754 plus just for piping not end connections or installation SO WHEN things get cooler I will just use that as you pay for 1/2 materials plus they have equipment for installation...SO will see
I also have some steel for sale I may get some excess $$$ to use....
Meantime many neighbors heard the story and are giving me high fives for sticking up for ME against HIM in particular...amazing
SO until I get the excess flooding taken down selling is going to be negative right now.....blast it anyway.... SO good news bad news but working on the problem...
Guess like everyone says wish they were there to hear me holler back at BILL....he needed it ....so when they laugh about it I can now laugh too....but do not want to do it again...Meantime I keep my pump going ....
