Hi Everyone,

I don't know how it's happening...but I am slowly working to move towards a better life for myself and the boys. I can't believe it will soon be 10 months since my husband passed. That day has changed our lives so drastically.

I am working to make new memories for our boys, and remember all the things their dad taught them.

I have days where I don't cry all the time like I did in the beginning, but the sadness is always there in the background. There are decisions that I will have to make without my hubby by my side, but I sometimes feel like he's still cheering for us.

I just wanted to say thank you to all who has offered kind words as we continue on this journey together.

Thank you so much for sharing your progress with us. It is so good to hear that your cloud has lifted just a little bit and you are able to breathe again.

I, too, began experiencing improvement just before Easter and, so far, life has been on a pretty even keel. I am going to take this break from all the intensity and enjoy it for as long as I can!

You are doing well for your kids sake I admire that as it is hard to grieve and take care of little ones at the same time. Hugs!

Your husband like my Kate who passed eight weeks ago, is cheering us forward...I have to be there for my son Harry as you your boys... little steps and happy tears,..

You DO find yourself able to move out of your grief fog eventually - this is wholesome and good. Well done. There was a time when you had not yet met your husband when you held it together, and so you can again, without feeling that you are somehow wrong not to grieve 24\'7.
Since he IS with you, guiding and loving you now , you have a greater advantage. May your tears become fewer and your memories sweeter with each day, nobody can ask for more xxx

I am encouraged when I read posts like yours. It is comforting to know that it will get better, even when you can't see the path for yourself.
