And another time being held but woke up with no remembrance of who it was
He was such a romantic loving husband. it's hard to imagine not ever being able to have that again with Larry. I try not to think about it or it makes me sad and depressed ...
I actually woke myself up a couple nights ago, made myself cry...My wife and I often slept back to back, but I would always have my left hand on her back or leg...reached out the other night too do that...
thus the "woke myself and made me cry" part when all i touched was air..
Run over me, as I was trying to cross the Snow packed street.
Yes,!!he flew out of his car, shouting, "are you ok." As soon as I said "yes, I'm ok". He gave me a huge hug..... we were married 2 years later .....What a Wonderful man I was Blessed with!!!
We all have sweet memories, when we can see through the grief...
Hugs....Sandra
Because of issues in my past (before I ever met Shane), I have always been uncomfortable with anyone but him or my kids touching me... so if I were to dream of someone other than one of them doing it, it would likely send me bolt upright in bed, so I am not a reliable gauge for this issue... I do think that you are likely seeking that comfort though.
I am grateful being able to touch my dogs, for now. especially evenings.... If not for them, I would have lost my mind the first weeks.
seems like we all have a million steps to approach.
My brother came to visit for a week and for some reason I imagined more physical comfort in his presence, but there wasn't. Just having his company was nice.
I know how lucky I was to have that for a very long time but it only magnifies how much I miss him!
Is it better to have had a great love and lost it or to have NEVER loved at all?
