Perhaps the diet fairies were watching out for you!
Thanks for the absolute proof that all we need to do is concentrate and we'll be fine! Hope your oven is self-cleaning so that all you got was a little scare and a big laugh.
Hugs, Gail
What a hoot! Too funny. Thanks for a good belly laugh, but now I'm hungry for pizza. TJ

Sorry about your pizza (and your oven!) but glad it wasn't anything worse than that.
Love and Hugs, Martha
I was married to someone else before DH. One day, we decided to buy a frozen pizza. My ex-husband volunteered to do the honors and prepare the thing. After about 20 minutes, I noticed a strange smell in the house. I thought, if that's the pizza, I'm not having any. I can't quite describe it, but it was the worst smell I've ever smelled. Nothing like the mouthwatering aroma I'd expected.
I told my ex: I'm not eating it. There's something wrong with it. He said, smells good to me and sat back and continued watching television. And I thought, maybe I married the wrong guy.
Well, we let it cook another five minutes and I told him I'd do the honors and get it out of the oven for him. I'd already decided on a turkey sandwich for myself.
So, I go over to the oven, open it, and there nestled in the center of the oven was the pizza, all swrivled up on the cardboard box. The thing actually resembled a bowl what with the cardboard cooking to a great extent. Turns out his mother always prepared pizzas and put them back on the cardboard. He figured she cooked it that way, so he did too.

I don't do frozen pizza, so at least there's one trick I won't preform. I did however make some pancakes from a baking mix to which you have to add eggs, oil, sugar and milk. They were the worst pancakes I had ever seen in my life and tasted even more awful. Then, I noticed I had used plain flour instead of the baking mix. Just what you said - not concentrating. The packages are totally different, so how on earth did I mix them up?
