I seen a post on Facebook of a young man that got a copy of his dads handprint from the funeral home and had it tattooed on the top of his shoulder. So his dad would always be there to guide him. I wish I would have thought of that....

My husband had multiple tattoos, but only one that I was willing to put on my body. It's a paw print with a wolf howling in it. I didn't have any good pictures of it, but I found a talented artist that was able to use the one distant pic I had a put a copy of it on my forearm exactly where his was.
It's beautiful. I love it. I see it everyday and I'm exceptionally happy to have it.
I want another to commemorate my Mom. She passed away about 6 months before my husband. She loved yellow roses. It just seems so cliche, but I'm having a tough time coming up with anything else. Good luck to you! I'm sure whatever you chose will be perfect!

Just an update.

I went and got my memorial tattoo and I am so glad I did. It turned out better than I ever expected. Having trouble keeping moisture on it. Have tried all sorts of things but most have done nothing but irritate it. Tried all fragrance free stuff. Any suggestions?? I would like to post a picture but I don't know how. Any Ideas on that??

My husband use to text me, and all his cards said Love you oodles and gobbs 4ever and after... but dont think ill be getting a tattoo anytime soon. Too much of a chicken... lol.. Much love and big hugs carla

Lisa...moisturizer may depend on if you have any allergies or some-such...but I use Lubri-derm twice a day, seems to work good...I have also had good results with that green gel with aloe in it, can't hardly go wrong with aloe...Dave
