I love my husband. It hasn't stopped because he's no longer on this earth. He has everlasting life in Heaven, and yet, I've heard many people over the years use the past tense of love. Never made sense to me. He stopped breathing here on earth, but my love didn't stop at that moment.

Still love him, of course, and always will. He is in my heart. Now, with my X-husband, I "loved" him, but that love stopped; we are only friends now. There is a big difference between "love," and "loved." You don't stop loving someone just because they passed. Maybe for people who say they "loved" their DS, it is their way of beginning to move on. Me, I'm not there, and don't know as I ever will be. And yet, I am sure one could love someone new and still love the person that passed. Why not? Our hearts can grow to love many people during our lives, in many different ways that we get to define for ourselves.

Today it is six months since my dear Buddy left this Earth...I will always love him. And when I speak of him (which is often) it is always in the present...I just can't bring myself to use past tense. He is with me in my soul, my heart and every breath...

I still love my husband very much. Probably, heck, I know I will. He is still a very big part of my life, he taught me so much about life and just about everything I know. I can't feel him as much as I did in the beggining, but I know that he is still with me in my thoughts, heart and soul. I think now he is mine and April's gaurdian angel. I still love him very much, and am learning to adjust to life without him being here physically. I catch myself saying I loved him, but I do still love him with all my heart and soul. Make sense?

My husband has been gone for 28 months now and I still love him. My love for him is deeper than it has ever been. I will love him always and forever. I loved him then and I love him now. That will never change.

Definitely for me - love, not loved, and I tell him so every day while I'm talking to him.

I fell in love with him from the moment I met him at 15. We married at 20 and were married almost 38 yrs. I will always love him. He is my husband and that will never change. We were total opposites in a lot of ways and we always laughed about that. But we were alike in major ways and it worked.

I agree with everyone. I will always love (present tense) my husband. He was critically ill for 18 months and would tell me that we were married for eternity. I remind him of this when I talk to him or when I visit his grave. I also agree with many that the love grows since in remembering we realize how special our love was -- that we are blessed to have had these wonderful marriages. That is why it is so difficult to go on without them. Jude

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
