Maybe over time as people move on with their lives, they just phrase their love in the past tense, not meaning that they have stop loving their love one. I don't think you ever stop loving the person you lost.
You will always love our husband. That's a good thing.
take care

I thnk you are definately right.....
I know that she is waiting quietly somewhere for me to come to her.
When I think loved as in past tense I think former boyfriends or girlfriends I no longer keep up with and whom no longer keep up with me. I think of things I used to like or love doing that I no longer do, but as for the love I have for people who mean very much to me, These people left behind a part of themselves with me that will never go away until I die and then, even then I will have the honor and blessing of seeing them again in heaven so I say love. Now that does not mean that I talk about them in the present tense as if they are still here with me because I have moved on and if that is your concern or you think it might be their concern don't worry about it. I am sure the very fact that someone may have made you selfcounsciouse about it is the very reason you have nothing to worry about in terms of it apply to you. Someone who does that usually doesn't know they are doing it.

I still consider myself being married to him. I'll always be his wife, and he'll always be my husband. That will never change.
