Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Come here as often and you need to.

I am so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. Sharing with us here on DS will definitely help you get through each day. The friendship and compassion I have found here have made this terrible journey more bearable. Please come back often, whether to post or simply to read. The door is always open!
Wishing you peace . . .
The pain, the loss, the sadness, the vacant, alone feeling.........we are all here with you and we've all felt it. It hurts so much, I know!
Don't try to do anything, not yet. Let your heart catch-up with your head.......Again, I'm so sorry!
Roz
I hope you find help like I have with this group - there are terrific, loving, caring people on this site who have pulled me through many a dark night.
I echo Roz, in that you should take time to grieve, as much as you are able, and to not make any major decisions on things beyond the funeral arrangements. Just heal. It will all come together in good time.
Take care, Jac
I also care for an adult child who is autistic, and have been doing it alone since my husband became ill, and passed March 19 of this year. This is a good place to come to...there are a lot of caring, compassionate people who have endured the same loss, and who share your pain. Take care,
Wendi
As has been shared by the others this site has also been extremely helpful to me. There's a level of understanding & empathy you will find in here from those that have / are traveling down that road of unfathomable sadness.
Hang in there for both you and your daughter.
