I lost my husband along with his parents, little brother and close family friend on July 13th. My son which is 6 was the only surviour from the accident. They was hit by a semi. I'm lucky to still have him. July 20th my husband birthday my father passed away. Then the next day my uncle. Eight people within days. I don't know what to do. My son was injured in the accident and has nightmares. I lost everyone I talk to everyday at once. I'm trying to keep it together for my son. He's already scare enough. He's afraid of the dark, sleeping and being in a car. He remembers the accident. Everyone was killed on impact but him. He was asleep when it happened. He remembers seeing all of them gone.

This is going to suck for a long time. Just understand that. It will be hard, and sad, and anything you feel is right on. The only blessing in this is that so many got to go together. But that leaves you here to help your son. Surround yourself with whatever support you can. Are you a part of a local church?

My heart goes out to you! I am so sorry that you have suffered so many losses in such a short period of time. Whenever you feel the need, please come here. You will find lots of good people who understand and will support you during this difficult time in your life. I am so thankful you still have your little boy. Roxanne

Hello. I am so heartbroken for all you losses. I truly understand what it feels like to have multiple losses piled on at once. I am at a little over three months now. Please keep coming here. Thank you everyone. It's just been rough. Doesn't help that I just keep getting bad news. Went to the doc yesterday and had a biopsy done for possible cervical cancer. Waiting on the results. Hopefully it's not I'm all my son has left.

What a frightmare. Keep holdng together. God sees all, and holds all things together...
Your son will have to slowly overcome these understandable fears, Exposing him to cars, the dark, etc. with no negative outcomes should help him.
Don't readily believe what doctors say. Get 2nd and 3rd opinions. Hopefully you're healthy. Stay close.

Grateful I own my home. Grateful for good friends and neighbors who watch over me. Grateful to God for His everlasting love and patience with me.
