Jerrie (jbsix) Now in Heaven

Jerrie's son called and said she passed away bout 1:30 today, ET, and that it was very peaceful and serene. Several members of the family were there. I told him a couple of days ago that at least 50 DS friends had said they were sending thoughts/prayers - and to tell her so if possible. So she has now achieved what many here say they long for -- to be where their love is. She & Donald were married 53 years.

Thanks for letting us know how Jerrie was doing and when she went home to be with Jesus. I just came on and saw this just now. I have tears as I write, but know that Jerrie is completely healed. Just think, she is with The Lord Jesus and her Donald. She sees and knows what we all long for, to be with Jesus and our spouse and our loved ones that have gone on before us. Prayers are with her family and with you. She will be celebrating Resurrection Sunday wait Jesus our Savior, how awesome!!!! Wouldn't it be totally awesome if Jesus came back on Easter and we would all be together?!?! I long for that day everyday.

I am glad she was surrounded by love at the end, and I can only imagine the love that was waiting for her at the other end of her journey. God bless her and her family, who must now face her loss as well.

Thank you so much, Doye, for keeping us informed, and I am sorry for the loss of your friend and ours. Please pass on my condolences to her family.

My heart aches for her family, rejoices for her. My prayers for peace & comfort for her family go up; May they find comfort in knowing she is at home, and reunited with her beloved Donald. Thank you, Doye, for letting us know.

Thank you so much for letting us know Doye. She is at peace and reunited with Donald, rejoicing in the Lord on this beautiful Easter Sunday. TJ said it perfectly - I also celebrate her life and smile at her memory. She was a wonderful person, an inspiration and a great friend. She will be missed.
